Access reports from Inventory > Reports.

Stock Valuation

Total inventory value by product, category, or warehouse.

Low Stock

Products below reorder point needing replenishment.

Movement History

All stock transactions with filtering options.

Expiry Report

Batches expiring soon or already expired.

Inventory Aging

Stock age analysis for slow-moving items.

Purchase History

Historical purchase data by supplier, product, or date.

Stock Valuation Report

Shows the total value of your inventory.

Running the Report

  1. Select Stock Valuation
    Click on "Stock Valuation" from the reports menu.
  2. Set Parameters
    • Valuation Date: Point-in-time or current
    • Warehouse: All or specific location
    • Category: Filter by product category
    • Costing Method: Average, FIFO, or last purchase
  3. Generate Report
    Click "Run" to generate the report.
  4. Review Results
    Report shows:
    • Product name and SKU
    • Current quantity
    • Unit cost
    • Total value (Qty × Cost)

Export Options

Export to Excel or PDF for further analysis or record-keeping.

Low Stock Report

Identifies products that need reordering.

Report Criteria

Filter Description
Below Reorder Point Stock ≤ configured reorder point
Zero Stock Products with no available stock
Critical Stock covers less than X days of usage

Taking Action

From the low stock report, you can:

  • Create purchase orders directly
  • Export list for supplier ordering
  • Adjust reorder points if needed

Movement History Report

Complete audit trail of all inventory transactions.

Filter Options

Filter Use Case
Date Range Transactions within specific period
Product All movements for one product
Movement Type Only receipts, issues, transfers, etc.
Warehouse Movements at specific location
User Transactions by specific user

Report Details

Each movement shows:

  • Date and time
  • Movement type (receipt, issue, transfer, adjustment)
  • Product and quantity
  • Reference document (PO, invoice, etc.)
  • User who processed it
  • Running balance

Expiry Report

Track product expiration for food safety and waste prevention.

Regular Review

Review the expiry report daily for perishable goods. Take action on expiring items before they expire.

Inventory Aging Report

Identifies slow-moving or stagnant inventory.

Purchase History Report

Analyze your purchasing patterns and supplier performance.

Report Options

  • By Supplier: Total purchases per vendor
  • By Product: Purchase history for specific items
  • By Period: Monthly/quarterly purchase trends
  • Price Analysis: Track price changes over time

Exporting Reports

All reports can be exported for external use:

  1. Generate the Report
    Run the report with your desired parameters.
  2. Click Export
    Find the export button (usually top-right).
  3. Select Format
    Choose Excel, PDF, or CSV.
  4. Download
    File downloads to your computer.

Scheduled Reports

Some reports can be scheduled to run automatically:

  • Daily low stock alerts
  • Weekly expiry reports
  • Monthly valuation summaries

Contact your administrator to set up scheduled reports.
