Prerequisites Overview
Before you can take orders, the POS system requires three things to be set up in order:
Business Day
An open business day defines the operating date for all transactions.
Shift
An active shift ties your transactions to your user account and tracks work hours.
Cash Drawer
An open cash drawer enables cash transactions and proper accounting.
When you access the POS dashboard, the system automatically checks these prerequisites and guides you through the setup if anything is missing.
